Rice Flour Crispy Sev
Ingredients:
- 4 bowls rice flour
- 1& 1/2 bowl gram flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ghee
- 1/2 liters water
First, heat one and a half liters of water in a pot. When the water
boils, keep half the water aside. Now add 2 tbsp of ghee to the remaining
water. Once the ghee melts, add cumin seeds, red chillis, salt and turmeric
powder and bring to a boil. Mix dry rice flour and gram flour well. Now add
flour to hot water and stir well. And keep it covered for 10 to 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes add warm water little by little to the flour and knead it
well. Now apply a little water inside the Sev mold and fill it with flour.
Put a pan on the gas and heat the oil. Once the oil is hot, drop the Sev in
the pan directly. Fry till it turns
light brown. Crispy Sev ready to eat.
