Rice Flour Chakali
Ingredients:
- 4 bowls of rice flour
- 1.5 cup gram flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoons of red chili powder
- 2 teaspoons of ghee
- 1 teaspoon of white sesame seeds
- 1.5 liters of water
First, heat one and a half liters of water in a pot. When the water boils, keep half the water aside. Now add 2 tbsp of ghee to the remaining water. Once the ghee melts, add cumin seeds, red chilies, salt and turmeric powder and bring to a boil. Mix dry rice flour and gram flour well. Now add flour to hot water and stir well. And keep it covered for 10 to 15 minutes. After 15 minutes add warm water little by little to the flour and knead it well Now apply a little water inside the Chakali mold, fill it with flour and make it into a plate. Put a pan on the gas and heat the oil. Once the oil is hot, fry the Chakali on medium to high flame. Crispy Chakali ready to eat.
