Brinjal Bharta

  Ingredients:

  • 1 large brinjal
  • 6 to 7 green chilies
  •  2 large onions finely chopped.
  •  salt
  •  juice of one lemon
  •  1/4 cup grated coconut

First wash and dry a large brinjal, apply 1/2 tsp oil on it and place it on a roasting net or keep it on direct flame. Roast for 15 minutes on medium heat. Roast the green chillis in this way as well. Remove the skin of the brinjal with tongs. Now crush the roasted green chillis and brinjal in a mortar. Now take out the crushed brinjal in a bowl. Add chopped onion, wet coconut, salt, lemon juice and mix well. Tasty brinjal Bharta is ready.
