Banana flower vegetable
Ingredients:
- 1 banana flower
- Half a bowl of soaked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup wet coconut
- 2 onions
- 8 to 10 garlic cloves
- Oil
- Salt
- 3 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander & cumin powder
First apply oil on both the palms. Now open the petals one by one. Remove
the petals until the white part is visible. Remove both of these parts from
each flower. Cut the vegetables. Finely chop the inner white part as well. Keep
the cut vegetables in water overnight. First wash the soaked chickpeas. And
add salt and cook it from the cooker. The next day, Pour
the vegetables kept in water in a sieve and remove all the water. And rinse
once. Now add 1 tbsp of oil to the pan. Add chopped onion and garlic to it.
When the onion turns a little red, add wet coconut and Sauté for 2 minutes.
After the mixture cools, add 3 teaspoons of garam masala and 1 teaspoon of
coriander cumin powder and mix it through the mixer. Now heat 1 tsp oil in a
pan. When the oil is hot, add 1 Small Chopped onion and 5 cloves of finely
chopped garlic. When the onion turns slightly pink, add the drained vegetables,
cooked chickpeas and wet coconut
gravy. Using boiled chickpea water, cook
the Vegetables on medium heat for 15 minutes. Banana flower vegetable ready.
